I should have read this before I assumed all my work was committed and driving all the way to the office only to find 4 hours of work was sitting at home and not in my CVS (Concurrent Versions System). So that was fun.

However…

Today hasn’t been a bad day. I had lunch with Carol. That was really nice. We had a lot to talk about and we hadn’t just sat down and talked about life in a while. It’s exciting how behind me everyone seems to be with my move to Chicago. I’ve felt a lack of support in my life since I’ve returned from Kenya (not because of any of my friends or family but just because of what a change it was) and everyone voicing their support and pride in me is really really doing a lot of good. My Mom gave me this really cute card. The cover looks like this:

And inside it just says, “You can do it!” I cried for a while. Thanks everyone, your support has done so much.

I was in Morrison to meet Carol so I walked through Sundance Sensations & My Favorite Little Boutique in Morrison. It was good to have some time to myself to wonder around and move about. I think I’m finally on a sleep schedule, something I’ve been really pushing myself for because I’ll need to be in the office in Chicago around 9 am every morning (8 am in Colorado). So it is really exciting. I hope I keep up with it because I find my days seem a lot longer when I wake up earlier (though it is nice to occasionally sleep in).

Additionally last night wasn’t a half-bad night either. I got a chance to warm up my incredible Magic: The Gathering Skillz with my sister’s boyfriend Evan. My sister doesn’t care about me, she won’t go out with me just cause she has a paper due Monday. It’s Saturday, no one does homework on Saturday! Ha ha ha. Check out that blogger line. I wish I could comb my hair over my eye so I could be emo.

I’ve been listening to “The Way I Am” by Ingrid Michaelson today. Randomly I turn it on and sing to it in my pretty singing voice. It’s a pretty cute song, unfortunate the rest of her album that I pirated is not as breathtaking or cute. “Cause I (I – I – I – I) love the way you call me baby!! And you take me the way I am!!”

I’m gonna get totally hyped up on Emergen-C and then run around my house or something. 1000 MG OF VIATMIN C IN ONE GLASS!!!! SUPER ENERGY BOOSTER! MADE WITH LIGHTNING! REAL LIGHTNING!!!
